First, let me unravel the hidden meaning of my blog name by defining the words wrapped around it. Picture is a visual representation or image painted, drawn, photographed, or otherwise rendered on a flat surface*. While phantasm is a product of fantasy*. I'm a girl who would rather live in a world that doesn't exist rather than the intangible ground she's been stepping since the day she was laid in this lovely garden. There are gazillion stars roaming inside my mind and I can't seem to control their feisty motion leading to a thought blizzard. My mind is overflowing with random thoughts and ideas, I could definitely create my own universe inside that big ball of nerves. I'm a very imaginative girl, I tell you. Scenes of different emotions suddenly pop inside my mind and after a few seconds, I'm in an alternate universe. I love pictures, pictures remind me that life is limited, that life should be cherished because moments only happen once in a lifetime and there is no such thing as a time machine to take it all back. Pictures are memories, pictures are moments that are kept, bottled, and for me, pictures are like time machines. Whenever you look at them, you get a glimpse of things that happened while taking the picture. In this blog, I decided to write my picture phantasms. I want to keep pictures by writing words. I want to write my fantasies, my what ifs, my thoughts. In this blog, I can be free, I can be who I am without worrying of what others might think. Picture Phantasms.
